Sex poll: Malaysian men opt for quality

NST: KUALA LUMPUR: It’s not the quantity that matters. It’s the quality.
This may be the Malaysian man’s credo when it comes to sex. How else can anyone explain their last placing in the Asia Pacific region, in terms of monthly sexual relations?
Malaysian men have sex about 2.6 times a month compared to the global frequency of 6.5 times.
Eighty-one per cent of Malaysians surveyed in the Global Better Sex Survey by Pfizer, said they were satisfied with their sex lives.
Consultant urologist Dr Peter Ng Eng Pin felt that Malaysian men wanted quality sex. "It doesn’t matter how many times they do it."
He was speaking at the Men’s Health Forum 2006 entitled, "Exploring Intimacy: The Key to a Successful Relationship", yesterday.
According to the survey, 93 per cent men said that sex was a necessary component of life compared to 83 per cent of women surveyed.
