Shell Malaysia Wins Multiple MSOSH Awards

SIBU, Sept 14 (Bernama) -- Shell Malaysia has won numerous awards at the Malaysian Society For Occupational Safety and Health (MSOSH) 2005 Awards Presentation ceremony in Kuala Lumpur last Friday.
The awards were under the petroleum, gas, petrochemical and allied sectors, its Media Relations in Miri said in a statement Thursday.
Its Exploration and Production (SM-EP) Facility Labuan Crude Oil Terminal performed exceptionally well when it won the sectors grand award while the Port Dickson Refinery, the Sarawak-Bintulu Integrated Facility (onshore) and Sarawak-M1 Platform (offshore) won the gold merit award.
Its Pasir Gudang Depot and Sabah-Kinabalu Platform (offshore) won the Gold Class 1 award while PS Pipeline Depot the Gold Class 2 award.
Managing director of Sarawak Shell Berhad, Wee Yiaw Hin who oversees Shell Malaysia Upstream Operations received the awards together with other senior representatives.
Wee said the MSOSH audit process had been a most rigorous one but he was very happy that the Labuan facility had delivered the grand award while other upstream facilities had also done well.
