KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 8 (Bernama) -- The four-day Herbal Asia 2005 beginning September 15 will be an excellent arena for herbalpreneurs to strengthen their branding, marketing, product and services.
The exhibition on the herbal related industry to be held at the Mid Valley Mega Mall Exhibition Centre here is organised by GITEX (M) Sdn Bhd in collaboration with the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM).
GITEX's Chief Executive Officer Hajah Safinah Yaakob said the exhibition will enable herbalpreneurs to discover new inventions and innovations, exchanging ideas and understanding issues concerning the new and emerging global market for the herbal industry.
"This international event not only marks a rising Asian importance in the share of the global industry pie but ultimately aims to make Malaysia a herbal hub in the Asia-Pacific region," Safinah told Bernama.
She added that with the resurgence of interest in medicinal plants and herbal products in recent years, Herbal Asia 2005 will bring together a host of new participating Malaysian and international sellers, herbalpreneurs, producers, manufacturers and researchers in herbal medicine on a single platform.
"It will enable them to establish interaction and networking to move forward the herbal industry at the global forefront," she said.
